TEEN THEATRE ENSEMBLE AUDITIONS
The North Carolina Black Repertory Company will hold auditions for the next session of Teen Theatre on Saturday, March 13, 2010, from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Auditions are by appointment only. Youth between the ages of 13 to18 are invited to audition. Everyone must perform a monologue (no longer than two minutes), a choreographed dance piece and a song (you must provide your own music accompaniment). The total presentation should not exceed five minutes. Call the NCBRC office (336) 723-2266 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday to reserve your audition time.
OPEN AUDITIONS - ALL AGES AND ETHNICITIES
Valued Voices
NCBRC is in search of experienced adult actors of all ages and ethnicities for the Teen Theatre Production of Valued Voices written by Dr. Jean Rhor. Valued Voices is a play about the complexities of teaching and learning, and the difficulties faced by some minority students in American public high schools. Open auditions will be held on March 13, 2010 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at the Arts Council Theater, 610 Coliseum Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27106. Everyone must perform a monologue (no longer than 2 minutes), be prepared to move and sing 16 bars of a song of your choice, a cappella. The total presentation should not exceed five minutes.
All auditions are by appointment only. Please call the NCBRC office (336) 723-2266 between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday to reserve an audition time slot.
